Freedom from pain

myoActivation

Getting to the true source of your pain and movement limitations

myoActivation® is a unique, structured, system of assessment and treatment that aims to resolve the myofascial components of pain. Through the combination of activating muscles in sustained contraction, relaxing fascia in tension and releasing relevant scars, myoActivation uses modified trigger point needling techniques and protocols with the aim to resolve pain and improve the way you move.

myoActivation® is distinguished from other treatments by the approach we use to identify the source of the pain. A key principle of myoActivation® is that the site of perceived pain (where we feel it), is often NOT the true source of pain, (where it originates from). The myoActivation® methodology incorporates a detailed patient history, movement tests, and tissue examination to determine what the most important myofascial sources of pain are. This process can provide many patients with pain resolution and decrease reliance on pharmacological pain management.
